I have been writing since I was a little girl.
It was an avenue that knew no boundaries; a land and time that I controlled. It was my outlet for a very over-active
imagination. I could be rich and beautiful or a damsel in distress. A mercenary soldier for hire, or a Navy Seal rescuing
political hostages. Oh did I have some grand adventures! Adventures that I still, to this day, continue to have and
now share.
As I grew up, I put away my pen and tucked my imagination in bed for a long
sleep. In the late 70's, early 80's I went to college for Business Administration. I managed some and ran a couple of my own
businesses. All in all, I ended up the proverbial jack-of-all-trades. Went back to school in the late 90's for Electrical/Electronic
Computer Engineering. Now there's a heck of a field! And I can honestly say I perfected being the jack-of-all-trades!
I began to see a pattern in
my life while writing out a resume. A restlessness that followed me in my adulthood. Actually it was a professor that pointed
out the fact that I should be writing instead of chasing circuits! So I dusted off my pen and started exercising my rusty
imagination and the rest, as they say, is history.

NaNoWriMo
National Novel Writing Month
This takes place from Nov.1 to Nov. 30. It is
pure craziness and a whole lot of fun. What is it? It's pounding out a 50,000 word novel in a month. (Or more
if you dare) There are forums, groups to join, word counts and a whole lot more. Mean while;
those that sponser it take donations to help build children's libraries in counties that can not afford to do so on their
own.
I don't know why or how I started NaNo'ing? I do know, I
just did.
